The Quality Assurance division is accountable for ensuring the integrity of new software, as well as the integrity of improvements to existing software. Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance Testing. Acquainted with both Agile and Waterfall Methodologies. Understanding of Windows, Web-based and MS Access applications. Experience with Data/Messaging Exchange between systems. Basic knowledge of Data source and SQL Management. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of Industry Tool Sets, such as: Defect Management Applications, Modeling and automated testing tools.

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on Software Test Procedures, Techniques and Best Practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an capability to communicate in a collaborative environment with all project associates and stakeholders. Capability to perform and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment. QA Certification is an advantage.
Write QA Test Plans /Develop Detailed Test Scripts. Documents should contain needed information for anybody within the QA department to perform and validate the test. Working understanding of Agile/Scrum strategy to be able to focus on projects that are now conducted utilizing Agile immediately. Knowledge of Microsoft Test Manager or similar testing tool. Ability to make a deal between Agile and Waterfall tests methodologies. Experience with automated testing.
